Transitioning
It has been fun watching these grow from bulbs in a small pot. They bloomed about 2 weeks ago, and now the flowers are starting to wither a bit, and there are small green pods forming on the stems. Life is full of transition, and there's lots of that going on here at my house recently, too. Sometimes it doesn't seem like a positive, but it all goes together, and is all part of the process of becoming beautiful again.
Here are the other photos from my first week of this year's Project 365. I am challenging myself to do at least one public photo per week, and will be working toward several other goals throughout the year as well.

Frosty
A couple months ago I worked to "put" my son into a photo of Mike Mulligan and the Steam Shovel. My kids all loved it so much, that I made it a goal to do a book spread for each of them sometime. When we got snow early this week, I thought of this book, and my daughter was a very willing participant. I'd really love to focus more on the storytelling aspect of photography this year. I can hardly wait to see where the next step will take me!
